HR 5842 - “The Medical Marijuana Patient Protection Act“ was introduced on April 17th, 2008. It is an amendment to the Justice Department’s appropriations bill that would forbid the DEA from using taxpayer funds to raid medical marijuana clinics and arrest patients in the 12 states where medical marijuana (Cannabis) is now legal.
